Publish of Powerplay Report is failing

Hello,

We were on Congos Version 7.2 till last week. We have since upgraded to version 7.3.

I having problem publishing Powerplay Reports .ppx to upfront from Enterprise Server Administrator. Error message says publishing to portal failed. The cubes however are getting published.

I am not sure if the upgrade may have caused an issue.

Can anybody help with why the powerplay report(.ppx) are failing to get published, while the cubes get published.

Make sure the reports are using a remote connection to the cubes and are not connecting locally.

Thanks for the reply.

Is this a requirement of 7.3 version.

I was earlier able to publish a local report created on the server machine directly from server administration in version 7.2 (without using remote connection).

Not sure about that, but as far as I know all published reports must have a connection to a cube via the PPES connection. By this I mean open the report in powerplay,

File menu -> open -> select the cube -> check 'prompt for cube' box -> open button

you should then have a connection to the PPES server and attcah the cube via this route.
