Publish Finished Website

All,
I have just completed a website with dynamic pages. Everything looks and works great on my local machine. Now I am ready to place it on the production webserver. When I place the folder on the server, everything breaks. I end up the code being displayed instead of my data. I know it is something I am not aware of.
