Hi BO gurus

I am using Crystal Reports XIR2 and BusinessObjects Enterprise Release 2.

I am trying to publish a report I created against a network drive to show all subdirectories and documents contained within.

Works fine in CRXI both on my desktop and the report server but gives a incorrect logon error when run through Enterprise.

What is the trick in getting this to work? Is it possible? Do I need to map the drive in question to the report server?
Do I need to put a valid username/password account into the CMC that has access to this drive?

Your input and advice is appreciated as always?

Cheers

I don't think "mapping a drive" will work as that mapping will only be set-up when the user logs in.

You should use a UNC path instead eg. - \\server\volume

You will also have to run your BOE-XI (R2) services under an domain-account that has access to that UNC path, and has local ADMIN rights on your BOE-XI (R2) servers.
