Publish (2013) a service with separate files

I can't seem to find a way to publish single files into my folder (as I used to be able to do with the deploy project which does not exist now).

I can publish say it is going to go to a CD and it will create the files with a .deploy as the extension for each of the files.

I don't want that. I would need to go into each file delete the extensions. All the files seem to be there.

I also want to be able to designate a folder in my project that holds my templates (template folder) to also be moved to the published folder.

Is there a way to do this?
