Here is a problem I have never faced before. I created a file and made a dozen layouts in master pages like I always do. It is a school yearbook, and I have been working on the file for about two weeks.

Today I opened the file to finish my work and found that the entire book had reverted to one specific layout in the master pages. I went through the publication changing to the correct layout as I went and printing the results. I also did a Save As... as I changed major portions of the book. Then I noticed that if I revisited a page, it had reverted to the same layout as before. This is driving me crazy.

The whole experience is like having OVR turned on in Word. I keep overwriting what work I have just created. My major problem will be when I send the book to my yearbook rep. He prints them on a wide format printer and places the whole book on paste board.

Does anyone know what is going on here? I am not desperate, but am aggravated with what is happening.

Thanks ahead for your assistance.

Ah Ha! I just noticed that in the Master Pages palette the Adjust Layout menu was not selected. I reset the whole publication and it seems to be OK. Nothing reverts to that same master page now.

Let me know if you all think it may have been something else.

Hoping for the best!
