publication "x" row size exeeds 6000kb

How can I increase the upper limit ?? as I had it working before ! Since the server died last week I cant get past this error.
I can't create a publication at the moment because of this error I need to get it working asap as right now I'm sending backups the the web server since this started happening last week

Could you swich to transactional replication, this has an upper limit of 8000 Bytes, also make sure your column limit has not exceeded 256.

Lucky its just between 2 severs so should work... as more than 2 you have to use snapshot...
