Hey guys just thought I would repost..

I guess what I am saying is I need to setup a "public wlan" outside our LAN. What I am getting is that I need to setup firewall rules for the port that the Access Points wil be using. This is the first time I am doing this so I am lost. Usually I set up wireless configurations within the network.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Every Firewall is different on how rules are set up and on capabilities. We have our rules set up so that the wireless can't do streaming (save bandwidth), can't view Porn and other nasty sites. We also do some virus checking. Otherwise pretty much open.

I responded ur previous thread too.If your switches support VLAN, go fot it.
Or You have to do firewall rules. You can allow the INterenet gateway and ports 53,80,67,68 allowed.
