Hi, I think I'm missing something very simple. I have a personal site (My Site). I also have a test account setup in AD and have added that user to the Portal as a reader. If the test user clicks on my name after searching my name it gives an error Property is Private: You do not have the rights to access this private property.

I have added this user on my Personal Site as a reader, as well as by default Authenticated Users have reader priveleges.

Another user who is already setup (A Domain Admin) can do the search click my name and get to the public view of My Site.

Any ideas on where the permissions are going wrong?

PS: SSO is not configured, but I didnt think that would matter as permissions for test user are working in Document Libraries etc.

Took me a day but here is the answer incase anyone else gets the problem and stumbles onto this thread. Test user didnt have an email account.

Thats it, the end.
