I have a campus environment with an assortment of Avaya Definity Classic Switches and new 8XXX switches. All these switches are connected using point to point T1's. We also use least cost routing to save money. The problem I'm having is when a call is routed out one of my switches to the switch it's going to go out to complete the call, it sends out the build number of the T1 it's going out over. Not the number we have set up in the public unknown numbering format. Everything else works correctly. Does anybody have any idea what I should be looking for? Is there something on the trunk group form i'm missing?

ccclown,

Do you have the trunk groups on your remote locations programmed on the public numbering tables?

You say T1s? do you mean PRI/ISDN. Dont think your going send any Clid over T1

ccclown,

Yes, the ISDN PRI's at your remote sites. Check route patterns to make sure digit format shows pub-unk and trunk-group admin (page 3) has send calling number stroke to yes.

The route patterns have pub-unk and the send calling field on the trunk group is checked to yes. I'm still having the same problem. Any other ideas.

ccclown,

Can you post one of your route patterns and trunk groups.

I'm not sure how to send an attachment. Can you let me know how to do that.
