Public to Private Calender

Our secretaries at work access the directors calenders in order to add meetings and the like. We have also set up a public folder so that should anyone want to arrange a meeting they can view the public calender and see if a suitable time is available. However heres where my problem starts.
The secretary add the meeting to the public folder and then wants to copy it to the Directors calender so he knows what is going on. She uses the copy to personal calender which copies the information to her calender but also wants this to copy to the directors calender.
Can this be done and if so how.
