Hello,

I am trying to find any additional information about the PUBLIC role in Db2 with regards to it's default ability to access user data in the various databases on the server.

Can anyone provide an area with which i should look, or documentation that would be helpful?

Thank you in advance!

Access to PUBLIC is at the database level only.

PUBLIC is a 'system' group, that includes all users connecting to the database.

You cannot access system level privileges (like sysadm, syctrl etc ) to public
