Public MySite URL querystring

So here's my problem. When you go to the public part of a user's MySite homepage, the URL is ...Public.aspx?accountname=(insert AD username here).
Our Data Security department doesn't want our employee's AD usernames displayed anywhere because they contain our unique employee ID number, but I have no idea how to change this. Has anyone else run across this or have any ideas?

Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
