Does anyone know where I can get the public linksys ssl key? I want to set up my own basic provisioning system with my remote RT31P2 devices and want to use HTTPS.

I cannot believe that not one person knows the answer to this on this site.

The reason I need the public key is so I can put together a provisioning server. But, if there's another way around this, using my own certs, that would be fine too. Just not sure how to go about doing this.

I can believe it. You are lucky if you can get the public to properly secure a router, much less try to set up public encryption keys for SSL.

If I was going to do that, I would have to do some research first. Are you sure that your Linksys hardware supports that feature?

The reason I'm looking for it, or was, is that I have a hundred of these routers and I don't want to provision them manually. When I looked into building a provisioning system, it appeared that in order for them to connect home safely, they have to use their built in SSL key which is a linksys one.
At least, that's what things look like based on what I've read.

Bottom line is I just wanted a secured connection for them to call home and get updates.

May be some 3rd party stuff like WW-WRT might help, or you can try to get in touch with the principals and see what they may offer.

Otherwise I don't think that will go anywhere...

Yes, it's probably a dead end.
I appreciate the input, thanks very much.
