Public IP help! cant connect to server

Hi,

I'm trying to access applications over the web. My public ip is: "72.146.50.95" The port that one of them is on is "5800" I type in "

http://72.146.50.95:5800"

I have all of my ports that are required forwarded and it still says it can't connect to server. I have my firewall off on my computer and router. What is the problem?

For future reference don't EVER post this sort of detail again.

Posting you public ip is asking for trouble. People run searches to get that sort of data, IP address and a good idea of what is there to try and crack.

SECURITY!!!!! It starts with you.....

The problem you have is Port 5800 isn't open.
You've got
21 FTP
25 SMTP
110 POP3
2420 DSL Remote Management?????
6363 Storgrid

Storegrid default username and password is Admin and Admin hope you've changed it.

So basically you've not opened the port.

First, is the application running & does it work from another computer on the same local network? You might need to use the private IP address instead of the public IP from inside the network.
