hello all.

just installed exchange 2003 enterprise on 2003 server. i migated everything from exchange 2000 standard to the 2003 enterprise.

the problem im having is that it created duplicates of everything in the public folders. of the duplicates, 1 was using the old exchange server and one is using the new server.

i can't delete the old calenders that are looking for the old server which was uninstalled from the domain.

i hope this make sense and any suggestions are welcome!

thanks in advance.

can u just remove the public folder replica from old exchange 2000 server? and try to decommission the old server when all users cut over completely.

what i did was copied all the contents in the folder to the admins account. then deleted all of the contents. making sure all the permissions were setup correctly, then i moved them back and everything seems to working correctly.

however, i am getting an error from 1 user... the errors says that the public folders could not be updated correctly and that the free/busy status could not be updated and the only option to do is click ok.

any suggestions.
