ENVIRONMENT:
Exchge Server 2003 on Windows 2003 SBS R2.
Outlook 2003 Client

I have a small group of about 12 users. All had been accessing public folders fine All of a sudden two of them can see the top level folder but get an error message that they can not connect to the public folders.

Of corse I am not at that location and they have not sent me the EXACT error message. I will try to get that and poit it.

"Microsoft Office Otlook
Unable to expand the folder. Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer."

We have rebooted and run a Detect and Repair to no avail. This is not an intermitten issue with these clients. Only two people are experiencing this and all of a sudden. However they are still able to sena nd recieve email.

The Exchange Server Connection Status says Offline but when you click the Reconnect button nothing seems to happen.

Any ideas or suggestions? I am at a loss!

This is a client connectivity issue. It isn't Outlook and it isn't Exchange. Look at client DNS, client mail profile and similar.

I doubt that is the issue as the user can login to the domain and use all other network resources, applications, printing internet and can access mapped drives.

SOLUTION: A little Cash check box in the Client! Uncheck the box and it worked!
