Can I set the mailbox calendar in the exchange mailbox to synchronize with a public folder set up to hold the users appointments?

I want to do this as i need all users to be able to view others schedules, but i want to avoid users inputing appointments into their calendars as these wont be automatically propogated to the shared folder, and i dont want to have to set each machines calender permissions manually.
