In Exchnage 2000, a public folder was created by user 1. User 1 gave permissions to create and read items to other users, but only user 1 was designated as the owner of the folder.
User 1 left the company and her account was deleted. The folder is no longer needed. No one has permissions to delete it.
As the administrator I go into Exchange System Manager and right click oon the folder in question and choose propeties (hoping to make myself the owner) I get the error message:
The Connection was refused. Ensure that your virtual HTTP Servers are all started and ensure that the is running.
