Hi,

When creating a public folder calendar in Exchange 2003, how can I get the reminders to go to the person I want it to go to??? If I create a public calendar, and set the reminder, where does it go? Is there a way to specify which user should get the reminder?

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

You have to invite attendees to the event on the Calendar. Then they get an invitation. Once you've designated some invitees, you then have the option (as the appointment creator) to set up reminder options. Each person who accepts the appointment will be reminded per the parameters that you have set up.

But if you never invite anyone to the event, no one can be reminded. As a public event, it doesn't really belong to anyone until someone is invited, so there is no one to remind, no real owners except for the invitees.
