Public folder recovery question

I have a hopefully simple question I am hoping someone might be able to answer or point me in the direction of the answer.

Issue; I need to restore the entire public folder store on a server because someone has deleted a folder and we do not use deleted items retention (plus they deleted it weeks ago and forgot to tell me!). We have a good backup from just before the deletion and we have BrightStor backup 12.5. The I restore the public folder store and BrightStor tells me it was sucesfull, when I look at the public folders on that server from ESM on that actual server it shows me all the deleted folder. However, if I look at the public folders from either Outlook or ESM on any other server they show the structure. Then, during the night when our normal backup runs (which backups up the store on that server) it reverts the public folder store back to before the restore?? The store is backed up daily so there should not have been many logs around and there is no replica's that could have backfilled the store so I'm not sure why a) other clients could not see the updated store and b) why it reverted back after the backup? Hopefully someone far more intelligent than me can shed some light on the subject?

How many Exchange servers do you have? If you have more than one, then replication must be running, and you may be replicating the deletions back to the original server. Could that be the case?

Hello, thank's for your response.

We have multiple Exchange servers but this public folder structure only has one replica so it cannot be backfilled from another server in the Organisation.
