I'm hoping this isn't as stupid a question as I suspect it might be. I've searched high and low for an answer to this and have gotten nowhere. I'm fairly new to exchange administration as this job kind of fell into my lap unexpectedly. So bare with me if this seems silly to you. Most of my experience is with end-user support. I am sort of learning the server admin side on the fly.

We have a TON (1000+) of public folders which are used to sort messages by company etc.. We have a constant problem of users putting messages into the wrong folder and then not being able to find the email.

Is there a way to see who moved an email from one folder to another? or when/where something was moved to? Is there logging of this type I can turn on? What is the most effective way to search 1000's of public folders for a specific email?

Hopefully I am asking the right questions.

Thanks
