Public folder email address not available...kinda.

Hello everybody,

So we have a public folder called meca. Attached to this public folder are a couple of email addresses. One of those email addresses is meca@companyname.com. I can send emails to all the other email addresses without a problem, but when I try to send to meca@companyname.com I get an error saying that the email address entered by me can't be found.

Now when I go to our outlook webmail, and send a mail from there to meca@companyname.com, it works perfectly. However, if I try to send a mail to meca@companyname.com from my personal Gmail account, it doesn't arrive either.

So what it comes down to is this. I can only send mails to meca@companyname.com from our outlook webmail, but sending to meca@companyname.com from anywhere else doesn't work.
