I have set up a small network of three computers around a hub all running windows 98 and office 2000. I wany to share the outlook so they can see each others calenders and post appointments to them and have a communal contacts etc. Is this done by setting up public folders? and if so how do I do it becuase in outlook help there appears to be only how to create a folder within an already established public folder.

Thanks in advance, Hannah

Hannah,
You may be thinking about net folders in Outlook. Look in your help contents under "working with files and folders" and look at the section "working with net folders". This may be your only option for sharing calendars without an Exchange Server.

Hope this helps!
