Pubic access again - i need a detailed explanation..

Hi,

I am still confused as to what the PUblic Access folder can be used for..

I have 2 users. User 1 is in the GUEST group. User 2 is in the Default group..

When I untick the see and see contents of the Public Access permission for any particular folder....User 1 is no longer able to view it however User 2 is still able to view the folder..

This is great because its exactly what I want, BUT i need to understand why that is happening and make sure that it is not going to impact other users of Livelink..

Please explain..

Do both these users have "public access" enabled in their login.It applies to only people who have public access enabled.In my earlier posting I may have left out that.
