PubFoldCheck error

What does this mean?
Error in updating information in the Marker Object for 'PublicFolderCheck-mysite'.
Error: PubFoldCheck failed.

How do I correct this?

Have exchange 5.5 in domain x
Wish to install Exhange 2003 in domain y
will move users/mailboxes etc from x to y
y is child domain to a. Domain A has w2k exchange.
To my knowledge this is the first w2k3 exch. server in forest. I know it is first in the y domain.

Also, I have selected "Coexistence with exchange 5.5" when I start to install Exchange. Am I choosing the right one?


Any help would GREATLY be appreciated.

Hi,

have a look at this:
PubFoldCheck: The PubFoldCheck tool uses the Exchange Server 5.5 Directory Service/Information Store consistency adjuster to make sure that the directory and the information store are synchronized. Inconsistencies between the directory and the information store may occur when there is an entry for a public folder in the directory database that does not have a corresponding entry in the information store, or vice versa.
