Pub app closed, but still shows session at console

Using published apps and most apps are set to limit one instance per user. Occasionally a user will close an application, the ICA connection center no longer shows app and it is not on the desktop anywhere. But Citrix console will still show the session and app active. If they try to reload the app it won't let them because Citrix still thinks they are running it. Most common culprit is Word (XP), but have had it happen to other apps as well.

Any ideas on where to look or how to resolve?

I have the same problem with only Word XP. The result is once the one user leaves Word in this state no other user is able to access Word without a reboot of the sever. We have tried to reset the dropped or disconnected sessions but it doesnt release the process.

I had the same problem with some apps. Upgrading to the new 6.31 client fixed the issue. For us it started with FR2 install. *J*
