The pawcom website says that the next version of PT will use a mySQL database.
We currently use pawcom to access the PT data for reporting and linking to outside data. We have a lot of custom crystal reports that read the pawcom tables.
Does anyone know if the mySQL tables are set up so that they can be easily navigated? Are they really following though with the open source idea or will the tables and fields be cryptic and secret still?
This actually sounds like a wonderful thing, but before we upgrade I want to understand how accessable the data will be.
