PST files gone automatically! help needed badly

hi
I had couple of personal folders. till yesterday afternoon, i had everything working fine.
in late afternoon, i got an error message saying that the the folder doesnt exist as the outlook.pst at the location shown is not valid..
all my 3 personal folders and 2 archive folders, i cannot click them at all.
looks like some kind of virus. i ran a virus scan completely and also a adware program, but nothing was found..
please help..

If you haven't already figured it out - was is backed-up on a network server? If so, perhaps you were disconnected for a short period of time and it didn't restore. Upon reconnecting to the network and confirming that server is on-line it should work.

If local do a search on your pc for *.pst. Then just point it back.
