PSSP 3.4 Installation with AIX 5.1

I got the following error message when I tried to
enter non-SP frame information and reinitialize the SDR:

0513-059 The hardmon Subsystem has been started. Subsystem PID is 24896.
0513-059 The splogd Subsystem has been started. Subsystem PID is 28904.
hmreinit: 0037-262 The logging daemon timed out while attempting to connect to the hardware.
spframe: 0022-406 Issuing the command hmreinit was not successful with a return code of 1.

1800-035 Exit status (1) returned by command.
(Command process used stdout and stderr file
descriptors connected to SMIT via pipes.)

and I had put the following information into smit

HMC - pSeries 690 Information

Type or select values in entry fields.
Press Enter AFTER making all desired changes.
