PSQL 9 Install issue 1

I am installing PSQL V9 (SP1) on a Windows 2003 server. My user id is in the administrator group and I am logging on to the server using SMS Remote Direct (console session).

My problem is the Relational test fails because the demodata DSN does not get created during the install. When I try to create it manually I get an error saying that I have insufficient rights.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Your problem is that you are installing in a remote session. There is a key that can be set in the registry that allows the install to work correctly. Search the PSQL KB for "WTS".
THe other solution would be to uninstall and then reinstall from the physical server (not through a remote session).
