I need some major help with PSP 8. I want to create some text but I'm struggling. I set the fill and stroke colors, the fill color works fine but I can't see any stroke. I presume the stroke must be set to 0 px or something and that's why I can't see it. But for the life of me I can't find where I increase the thickness of the stroke. Can somebody help me out?

Take a look at the Tool Options Palette for the Text Tool. You should be able to change the stroke settings in it.
I'm on PSP X so I did a search for you on the internet. As far as I can tell 8 has an option on the text tool bar for the stroke just like PSP X.
