PSP X: How to fade out one side of photo/image??

Hello.

In PSP X, how would I fade out one side of a photo. For example: if I wanted to fade the left side of a photo into a white page?

I know how to fade all four sides (vignette) but baffled over how to fade a single side.

I appreciate the help.
