Just loaded PSP Photo XI on another computer yesterday and all worked fine.
Today is another story - program starts up okay - but then displays an hourglass for a long time when you go to load any image at all.
Eventually at the top of the screen (NOT RESPONDING) is shown in the blue header band at the top of the screen.

Only way to get out of it is to do a CTRL/ALT/DEL and select PSP in the programms running list, to terminate it.

Just wondered if anyone has experienced the same or has a suggested remedy.
Thanks

Have you tried resetting it?
Simply hold the Ctrl + Alt keys right after clicking on the program's icon to start. If successful, you should get a message asking if you want to delete the registry settings; if it doesn't work the first time, close the program and attempt to repeat these steps - its all about timing :)
