PSP IX & Vista

I've been using Jasc's PSP 9 along with Vista Home Premium for about three weeks. No problems other than Vista switches over to Windows classic colors.

All of a sudden, out of the blue, the program will no longer load. I keep getting "PSP 9 is not responding and will close." I do have Corel's version XI, but really am not thrilled with it and would prefer staying with 9.

I plan on trying a reinstall tonight in hopes that that will fix it. Any suggestions in the meantime?

I don't have Vista but I understand that you can install a program in XP mode under it. Have you tried this? I don't think Corel plan to make it Vista ready.
