Anyone know of a Photoshop plugin that allows you to import PSP files into Photoshop, or a workaround? I got a freeware one from but it was tested for Photoshop 5, and it causes progran errors, can only open 1 layer, etc.

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.

Do you have Paint Shop Pro? You can save as a .PSD (or any other format Photoshop will open) in Paint Shop Pro.

If you don't have the full program you can download the demo and use that for a month (I thnk).

No, I guessed that was one way, but i'm not going to install it just to convert PSP files. I was just hoping for an import plugin.

Even though you can create .PSD files in Paint Shop Pro, there is no utility or plugin that will allow you to open .PSD files created with Photoshop.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

I'm trying to open a PSP file (created in Paintshop Pro) in Photoshop. This is possible, but as I said the plugin was originally for Photoshop 5, not CS, and is limited to one layer.

The Telegraphics plugin (I wrote it) works fine in all versions of Photoshop including CS, and should not cause any "program errors"! In fact no bugs are known. If you have any problem, please report and I will investigate. Download from here.
