I have looked through all the posts and have found one entry which relates to my problem, unfortunately it doesn't say how to solve the problem.

For the last two days whenever I use my font tool, PSP gives me an application error similar to

["The instruction at "0x0067f8e8" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read".]

I have deleted many fonts (the previous post said it was maybe due to having too many fonts loaded on Windows, although I didn't really have that many). It's still bringing up the same error.

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Thanks for you help

Sarah

There are issues with certain fonts. I don't remember which ones they are. When you click on the Text Icon, do you get the error or is it when you click on a particular font? Also what OS are you running, Win98, WinME or XP?

Thanks Mike, I went through my font list and by trial and error discovered it was the Adorable font. What confuses me is that I have been using that font without problems for months. I wonder why all of a sudden it's causing errors. I'm running XP and haven't had any major changes for months.

At least I can use PSP again! I just need to find a new font for all of my pages.. ack :)

I'm not sure why that happens but some fonts do cause problems. I've seen this since version 5.
