PSP 9 Display photos have background color halos

Photos have halos throughout the background colors. I have tried to change to Adobe RGB 98 since I shoot with it. But no change on screen. My Adobe program display colors correctly.
Trying to find what changes I may try to correct this. I have gone through manual without any help.
