I have a Photoshop file of an animation (not for the web, so speed is not a problem) composed of ~30 layers. Each layer is an animation frame. The problem is how to save this so as that I get an image sequence of bitmaps, each layer saved to a separate bitmaps.
I know of the "Save layer to File" thing in PhotoShop CS but I only have PS 7.
Is there any other way of doing this, another software maybe? Oh, and it has to be bitmap based, not vector-based- I don't want my images converted to anything resembling the family GIF+web+Flash. Just good old bitmaps.
Thanks!

...the layers to files script is written in java, so in theory you can download the script plugin from adobe for photoshop 7, then grab the script from CS to run in photoshop 7, not tried it but in theory it may work...

...the download is here for windows for the script plugin for PS7:

...and for mac here:

...the you just need someone to send you the java that ships with CS...
