Hiya everyone,

I'm having some trouble getting clients to connect to our presentation server and was hoping that people here might have some idea as to what I've missed and why it isn't working properly.

We have a front-end managed hardware firewall, a DMZ in the 192.168.1 range in the middle and a back-end ISA 2000 server with one foot in the DMZ, the other in our internal LAN, our citrix server is behind that on the LAN.

In our webinterface.conf file I've put in:

AlternateAddress=Mapped
ClientAddressMap=x.x..,normal,*,alternate

where x.x is our internal range

and in the template.ica file:

Address=[Nfuse_IPV4AddressAlternate]

I've also set the altaddr to the external IP.

So, as it stands people can get in externally but when people on the LAN try to connect through the web interface their launch.ica files have the external IP address in. I can change this behaviour by putting the Address=[Nfuse_IPV4AddressAlternate] back to Address=[Nfuse_IPV4Address] (or even Address=[Nfuse_AppServerAddress] which I believe was the default) but then external clients can't connect.

Does anybody have any idea as to what I'm missing to enable both to be able to connect and be given the correct IP address? Whatever changes I make to webinterface.conf or via the web interface itself seem to have no real effect, only changes to the Address= field in the template.ica.

Any help much appreciated!
Neil.

In Web Interface admin there should be a bit about translations, cannot remember the exact screen.

You put in your x.x.x.* and point it to your internal ipin the first line and in the second you put in * and point it at alternate.

Yoou have the right idea, but I am sure you can do this pretty easily in the Web Interface Admin. What version are you using ?

[blue] Oh you know, just doing what I do.[/blue]

Cheers
Scott
