Setup the bios boot priority to 1st boot device: CDRoM
2nd to NONE and 3rd to NONE that should auto boot off the CD. Hope that works

Is there a bios option that needs to be enabled for USB keyboards to work outside of Windows?

If BIOS does not support USB keyboards and/or is not enabled then one is in a "Catch 22" situation.

You need the keyboard to enable the keyboard so you can use the keyboard.

At the moment [navy]wil115[/navy] needs a keyboard to get into the BIOS to adjust the BIOS boot order and/or enable USB support.

Maybe a PS2 - Serial adapter would work?

Like this one on eBay

(I hope it is OK to post eBay links - it is not my adapter!)

Good point stduc....

Keyboard error, press F1 to continue [ponder]

Have you tried plugging a usb keyboard into the mouse port and using a USB mouse? Works on some machines.
