Prt passwords 1

We are on communication Server RLs 5.0. I am trying to print the passwords of our users in Ld 22 and you do not see them anymore, I know security has tightend , Does anyone know if there is a way to view the passwords. If someone needs their password re-set Ld 17 asks for the old password , Well they forgot their password and now we cant see then anymore . Any help would be appreciated.

If someone needs there password reset, just ask them what they want it to be and change it to that. What there password used to be is not significant - since they can't remember it anyways.

Was thinking about this again it ASKS for the OLD password so how do you reset it if they cant remember,

It does not ask for the old password if you log in with the Admin2/PWD2 password. If you always had to know all the old passwords, nothing would ever get done You only need one password and you own the switch.

For release 4.5 and onwards, you can now create more than one PWD2 account!. But from release 5.x onwards, Nortel even tightened this up by giving you the option to prevent another PWD2 level account from viewing the accounts in LD 22 by the use of a new prompt "ACCT"
