I have been given the task of setting up our internet access for about thirty users and our mail server as well, what I need to know is 'Do I need to use a proxy server to allow multiple users internet access on a frame relay with a static IP?'. I need to have a static IP for our Notes mail server, and we are allowed but one connection.

absolutely.. or NAT running on a router. If the 1 IP address is public then you need to protect the servers ( and your job).
