Proxy server and Kazaa

This may be paranoid, but why would you want to allow a file sharing program to access your network? It is a serious security hole, also I'm not sure if kazaa works on ip addresses, but NAT on the server would prevent this from working, since it is designed to hide the internal addresses from the internet.
