We used to have two old domains which are no longer up.
MRPDOMAIN
UNILABELSERVER

We are getting Event Viewer errors, the "SOURCE" column is BROWSER. Event ID "8011"
the actual error says"
"The Browser Service was unable to add configuration parameter UNILABELSERVER"

and same for MRPDOMAIN

There are dozens of these a day, about every 10 minutes or so.

Can someone provide a way to stop these Errors

TIA

I would guess that you still have entries for these domains on a WINS or DNS server table.

OK so how do I get rid of them?

First stop check local lmhosts files for erroneous entries.

Next, go to the WINS server. There is a GUI tool provided for amending and viewing WINS records, and similar for DNS on the DNS server. All the entries will be listed within these tools.

Which machine(s) are recording these events? I'm assuming it's the PDC alone, or possibly the PDC and one or more BDCs.

I would also assume, from your response, that you are not the domain administrator for your organisation. This is the best person to do the job, since he/she will have a good understanding of this topic.

I hope this information is useful
