Proxy and return notification

If a proxy enabled user opens an email for the account that they've been given proxy access to, if properly setup does the sender get a return notification or does that only happen when opened by the addressee?

We have client/server versions 6.5.

Would the answer be the same if dealing with a 6.0 server in our tree?

When anyone opens an email, proxy or not, if the sender requests a receipt when opened the receipt will be sent.

I just tested it and it worked.

Thanks MTD. I don't have the authority yet to test that myself and I hate to bother a user to experiment with me. The requestor was our Financial Director and I didn't want to test with him. So as you can see, I REALLY appreciate it!
