We run Epicor's Vantage software which sits on top of progress 9.1. We recently upgraded from vantage 5.1 to 5.2 which required a progress upgrade from 9.1c to 9.d.
Since the upgrade I have encountered a regular sequence of illegal operations with the PROWIN32.exe and PROW32.dll files referred in the details.
Progress knowledgebase indicates an issue with older versions of Progress with these files, but no indication of anything to do with 9.1c and above.
There may have been an install problem because the clients had 9.1c and 9.1d installations concurrently - operator error - sorry! I have removed these and performed open heart surgery on the registry to remove all 9.1c references and then done the 9.1d client re-install. But still getting these errors.
Progress sits on a Win2k server and the clients are 98se.
Any ideas folks?
