I have a customer that has been screwed over by the lec long enough. They have 30 centrex lines, we are quoting a magix system with PRI. The LEC is CenturyTel. Got a quote from them on PRI, about $1000/month with a $2500 charge for the install. I tried SBC, Sprint and Broadwing. No one can get in there because the small market crap.

QUESTION: So the FCC did this crap to stop SBC from being a monopoly, arent they creating another monopoly from preventing customers to get a better deal.?

Any thoughts on finding a provider? Zip code is 53120

century's got a bite on that one. ouch, that's 10 times our local price.. can you get broadband and do a bypass?

Wow. It seems that Century is way out of line with that pricing. Even for a CLEC with no competition I would think that the local governing body in WI would prevent that kind of pricing. Are you absolutely certain that the quote is correct? Other alternatives have to be available. John suggested Verizon. Others would be MCI, Qwest, SBC in that area.
