Provider Order Tab missing from Advanced Network Settings Menu

I am looking to move the Windows Network(IP) ahead of IPX under the provider order to speed up my Windows 2k server access. Right now it is a slow lag when I try to connect to it and this seems to fix the problem on other machines when I am doing this. The operating system that I am working on is Windows 2000 Pro. Any thoughts as to why the tab would be missing? Thank you.
