Provider Attribute in the ADO connection string

Where can I find a list of "official" provider names used in the Provider Attribute in the ADO connection string?
I usually used the connection strings provided by connectionstrings.com. But I want to know more about what these provider names stand for.
The only place I can find for those "official" names is "SQL Server Management Studio - Server Objects - Linked Servers - Providers," where I can see a list of provider names. These names indicate drivers/APIs already installed on my workstation. Where can I find a complete list of all providers?
