Ho do you apply to Provide warranty work for dell or other large PC OEM? I have looked into becoming an authorized HP Service provider but they require that you sell $100 K of their products a year. How about Sony, IBM, Gateway Etc?

I have looked on their sites but I cant find any info on their Warranty work or certified service center programs.

TIA

Call the company and ask. That's the only way to find out if YOU can do it.

I know in my area dell and a couple of the other larger companies contract out to companies rather than individual. The main reason being the service level agreement commitment times. It is hard for an individual to service a more than 1 4 hour response in a 4 hour period. Companies can also keep a large stock of standard same day fix hardware in stock, such as Memory SCSI drives and controllers.

We are a small company that does have the manpower to be available. I was wondering if anyone had any experience because the after hours of searching the web and individual websites, we havent found any info except from hp. Also as far as calling the companies, we need a number and we have been unable to find a telephone number to enquire about (except hp and compaq.)"

I was hoping that there may be some guys in the forum who may have found a way to communicate with the larger manufatures.

We are located in NC.

TIA

On their websites look for partner programs.
